Today we meet our guide and driver, and take a 1h30 drive to Imlil village (1800 m), where we meet our mule trekking team. We begin our trek along the Ait Mizane valley towards the Toubkal refuge. We will stop for a picnic at the Chamarouch sanctuary, a pilgrimage site. In the afternoon, we continue to the Toubkal Refuge, located at the bottom of this wild valley. Optional summit walk in the afternoon (3900m). Altitude gain: +1400 m, -50 m. Duration: 4–5 hours. Dinner and night at the refuge.
Early morning start for the summit climb of Mount Toubkal (4167m), around 3h30 walking and 940m ascent. Enjoy a 360° panoramic view over Marrakech, the Sahara, and the Atlantic. Return to the refuge for lunch, then descend to Imlil and drive back to Marrakech. Total altitude change: +1000m, -2000m. Duration: 9 hours walk.

Our guide and driver come to pick us up in our accommodation in Marrakech then a 1h30 minibus drive to Imlil where we meet our cook and our team of muleteers. After getting to know our trekking team, we start our trek in the Mezzik Valley. We cross the pass of the same name at 2400 m to then reach the sheepfolds of Tamsoulte (2350 m) where we spend the night at the refuge of the same name. Dinner and overnight. Elevation +: 800 m Elevation -: 200 m Duration: 4h30 walk Accommodation: Tamsoult refuge.
After breakfast we climb to the Aguelzim mountain pass 3650m via the D'Irhoulidene waterfalls, so once on the top, the panoramic views will reward our efforts. Picnic will be taken in a spot with spectacular views of the Atlas mountain ranges including the Toubkal summit. We descend quietly to reach the Toubkal refuge at 3200m where we can camp or overnight at the refuge depending on the season. Altitude difference: 1310m +, 453m -. Duration: 7 hours walk.
5:00 in the morning we start our departure for the Toubkal climb; 3h30 and 940m to the summit, the views along the way make the journey more than worthwhile, with a 360° view of the desert to the palm grove of Marrakesh, to the west, imagine the Atlantic. We will retrace our steps when we return down to the refuge, have lunch and then head back towards Imlil. 9 to 10 hours walk to join our driver, come back to Marrakech. After breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your Hotel/Riad. A 1h30 transfer takes us to Imi Ouglad, where the mule team gets ready. We hike to the village of Tiziane via the Tacht pass (2000m). It's a dramatic change of scenery with ocher villages, green terraces, and ancient walnut trees. Arrival in the village of Tiziane (1950m), dinner and overnight at the guesthouse. Drive: 1h30, Walk: 5 hours, Elevation: +600m, -350m.
We leave Tiziane towards the Azaden valley, one of the most beautiful in the Toubkal massif. We pass the village of Tizi Oussem, then continue towards the Tamsoulte sheepfolds (2350m) where we stop for lunch. In the afternoon, optional visit to the Igholiden waterfalls. Elevation: +750m, -100m. Duration: 4h30 walk. Accommodation: Tamsoult refuge.
