Day 1We meet our guide and driver for a 1h30 transfer to the village of Imlil (1800 m), where we join our mule team. We start the trek through the Ait Mizane valley towards the Toubkal Refuge. Along the way, we stop for a picnic at the shrine of Chamarouch, a local pilgrimage site. In the afternoon, we continue towards the refuge, located at the end of this wild valley. Optional ascent in the afternoon (3900 m). Elevation gain: +1400 m, -50 m. Walking time: 4–5 hours. Dinner and overnight at the refuge.
Day 2Early morning departure to climb Mount Toubkal (4167 m). It takes about 3h30 of hiking and 940 m of elevation gain to reach the summit. From the top, enjoy a breathtaking 360° view over Marrakech, the Sahara desert and even the Atlantic Ocean. Return to the refuge for lunch and then descend back to Imlil, from where we return to Marrakech. Total elevation: +1000 m, -2000 m. Walking time: about 9 hours.

Day 1Our guide and driver pick us up from our accommodation in Marrakech for a 1h30 transfer to Imlil, where we meet our cook and mule team. After introductions, we start trekking up the Mezzik valley, cross the Mezzik Pass (2400 m), and reach the sheepfolds of Tamsoulte (2350 m). Dinner and overnight at Tamsoulte refuge.
Elevation: +800 m / -200 m. Walking time: ~4h30.
Day 2After breakfast, we ascend to Aguelzim Pass (3650 m) via the Irhoulidene waterfalls. From the top, sweeping vistas reward the effort. Picnic at a scenic lookout over the High Atlas, including views of Mount Toubkal. Gentle descent to the Toubkal Refuge (3200 m); camping or refuge overnight depending on season.
Elevation: +1310 m / -453 m. Walking time: ~7h.
Day 3Early start (around 5:00 am) to climb Mount Toubkal (4167 m); about 3h30 of hiking and 940 m of ascent. Enjoy a 360° panorama over the desert, Marrakech’s palm grove, and the Atlantic to the west. Descend back to the refuge for lunch and continue down to Imlil. Total walking time: 9–10 hours.

Day 1After breakfast, our guide picks us up from the hotel or riad. A 1h30 transfer takes us to Imi Ouglad, where the mule team prepares. We trek toward the village of Tiziane via the Tacht Pass (2000 m). The scenery changes dramatically: ochre-earth villages, green terraces, and centuries-old walnut trees. Arrival in Tiziane (1950 m), dinner and overnight in a guesthouse.
Transfer: 1h30. Walking time: 5 hours. Elevation: +600 m / -350 m.
Day 2We leave Tiziane and head toward the beautiful Azaden Valley. We pass through the typical Berber village of Tizi Oussem and continue up to the sheepfolds of Tamsoulte (2350 m), where we stop for lunch. In the afternoon, optional visit to the Igholiden waterfalls. Dinner and overnight at Tamsoult refuge.
Elevation: +750 m / -100 m. Walking time: ~4h30.
Day 3Breakfast followed by an ascent to Aguelzim Pass (3650 m), passing the Irhoulidene waterfalls. The summit offers breathtaking views. Picnic with panoramic vistas of the High Atlas, including Mount Toubkal. A gentle descent brings us to the Toubkal Refuge (3200 m), where we either camp or stay indoors depending on the season.
