This Imperial Cities Tour (8 Days) start and end in Marrakech, and includes the travel (by private vehicle) necessary to reach each of the stops. Every day a considerable number of hours are made by car since the roads are national. Visits to the different stops do not require a high physical / technical level, so they are suitable for people who do not have hiking experience.

Itinerary Imperial Cities Morocco Tour (8 Days) : Marrakech> Ouarzazat> Dadès Gorge> Kalaat M’Gouna> Erfoud> Merzouga> Midelt> Ifran> Fez> Volubilis> Meknes> Rabat> Casablanca> Marrakech

Assistance and transfer from the airport to the hotel. Accommodation in a 3* hotel or Riad in the Medina.

Breakfast and then cultural visit of Marrakech: This tour is done on foot and accompanied by a Certified Guide (English-Spanish-speaking). The guide will pick you up at the door of your hotel or riad whenever it is inside the Medina.

Accompanied by a local guide, we will enter the Medina of Marrakech to discover the main attractions of the historic center. We can visit the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia Mosque and the souks, a labyrinth of smells, colors and flavors.

About 3.5 hours.

Breakfast and departure to the south through the High Atlas and the Tichka pass at 2,260 m. Visit of the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou (UNESCO site). After lunch, we continue to Ouarzazate and the Thousand Kasbahs Road and the Valley of Roses. Arrival at the impressive Dades Gorge. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, departure to Kalaat M'Gouna. After lunch, we continue to Merzouga via Erfoud. Upon arrival, camel ride or walk to the camp to enjoy sunset in the desert. Dinner and overnight in tents. (Sleeping bag needed from October to April).

Breakfast and departure to Fez via Midelt, a mountain town at 1488 m altitude (snowy in winter). Journey continues through the Middle Atlas and cedar forests where monkeys live. Stop in Ifrane (“Little Switzerland”). Arrival in Fez. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Morning guided tour of Fez: oldest imperial city founded in 808. Visit the Royal Palace Gates, panoramic view of the Medina, mosques, medersas, tanneries, and artisans' quarter. Free time for lunch. Visit Volubilis Roman ruins, then continue to Meknes: walled Medina, Bab Mansour Gate, Hedim Square. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Breakfast and departure to Casablanca via Rabat. Visit the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, Hassan Tower, and Royal Palace. In Casablanca: lunch and panoramic city tour – Mohamed V square, Arab League park, Hassan II Mosque, and Anfa district. Return to Marrakech. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
