Highlights of the tour Imlil village Day trip:
About an hour and half from Marrakech, after crossing the gorges of Moulay Ibrahim, you will discover the village of Asni, located among olive and almond trees. Then, by minibus or 4x4, you'll take a 17 km route that leads along the breathtaking gorges up to Imlil village at the foot of Mount Toubkal (4167 m), the highest peak of North Africa.
Our guide will accompany you for a 1 hour 30 minute (or more) walk in the mountains. Lunch is with the Berber family of our trekking cook in Aremd (1900 m), offering a wonderful view over the valley. Afterward, return with great memories of the Atlas.
Imlil is the starting point for several hikes in the Toubkal massif, including the ascent to the summit itself (see Trekking section).
Pick up at the riad at 9:00 am and return at 5:00 pm.
Walking shoes required. Good physical condition because 1h 30 on foot.
Possibility of riding a mule if you have difficulty walking.
This program may suffer some variation at the discretion of the guide depending on the weather conditions, the physical / technical conditions of the participants or for any unforeseen event that may be detrimental to the safety of the group and the proper development of the program. You have to accept the guide's decisions on matters of organization, logistics and security. Any extra expenses for accommodation, meals, transportation and others as a consequence of this variation, will be borne by the participants.
